Latest News from the Tatum ISD Central Office on May 24, 2012

The first set of STAAR results are coming in and confirm what everyone has expected, the test is more rigorous than TAKS. Tatum ISD and public schools all across the State are facing the same challenge and at TISD we will meet the challenge head on and lead with our core beliefs. We believe that students can meet high expectations through our individual and organizational structures while applying the processes of continuous improvement. Through this belief of organizational and self-efficacy we know that as professionals improve CIA practices to align with the new standards, students performance will also improve. Continuous improvement requires that we analyze data, study and implement improvement practices and hold each other accountable for implementation and outcomes. As we move forward with this challenge, we're all in it together and there will be no excuses.

Thanks for choosing to participate in meeting this challenge.
