UIL Marching Contest Schedule- SFASU, October 22, 2011 (attached below)

8:30am             Meet at THS for rehearsal
10:00am           Load buses and head to SFA
11:30am           Arrive at SFA/bathroom break and get dressed
12:25pm           Warm-up
1:05pm             Perform
1:30pm             Return to buses and eat. Chick Fila
2:00-3:00pm    Watch bands and get results
3:00pm             Depart for THS
5:00pm             Arrive at THS and unload trailer

We are so excited about the 2011-2012 school year! We know that this will be this year's band program will be the best Tatum has seen. We have even added two new directors to round out our teaching staff. To join Ramon Parker, head band director, we have added assistant directors Jacob Ramos and Meagan Evans. Jacob Ramos is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, has previously worked College Park HS in the Woodlands, TX and will be working primarily with the percussionists here in Tatum. Meagan Evans is a recent graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and will be focusing on the brass section. The new staff will be assisting in all areas and levels in addition to working in their specialties. We can't wait for you to see this year's band and its accomplishments!
