We are excited to announce that the Tatum Elementary School Library has been awarded a $2,230 Dollar General Youth Literacy Grant!

These funds will be used to expand our collection of large-print books to support students with dyslexia and other struggling readers. By offering books that are more accessible and less visually overwhelming, we hope to help students build reading fluency, confidence, and a love of reading.

The Dollar General Youth Literacy Grant program supports schools, libraries, and nonprofit organizations working to help K–12 students who are reading below grade level or experiencing difficulty with reading.

We are so grateful to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation for investing in our students and helping us provide access for ALL readers at TES!

We can't wait to get these new books into the hands of our Tatum Eagles!
