AT&T has their access program, available to residents who are within AT&T’s wireline service area, has at least 1 household member who is receiving SNAP benefits and has no outstanding debt with AT&T.

Centurylink

No special offers for COVID-19, but the response is as below.

DSL service is available in supported cities who have Centurylink as a provider. Service is $49.00 per month, plus $10 per month for modem/router (plus applicable taxes). To order, call 1-800-786-6272 or 1-800-788-3500 and choose New Service and High-Speed Internet. This can be paid for by resident or school.

Qualifying low income households can apply for the Centurylink Lifeline program – to apply, see “Texas Lifeline Program” section below. This is for residents only, not schools. 

 

Consolidated Communications

Two months of free internet and equipment for students, plus free installation for residents within Consolidated’s service area.

Contract flexibility – Customers who take advantage of this offer may choose a one-year or two-year agreement to make further promotional discounts available after their first two months of service. Or, they may sign up for month-to-month service. No early termination fees will be charged for customers who end service before their chosen contract duration.

Eastex

To assist families with distance learning objectives, beginning April 1, 2020, Eastex is waiving service connection fees and providing two months free internet service to qualifying customers. Interested customers must present either an active student ID, recent report card or recent tuition receipt to Eastex in order to qualify for the promotion. Eastex is also actively working with all of its area schools to provide any needed assistance in establishing Wi-Fi hotspots to allow school-aged children and parents to access educational content from school-designated locations.

Fidelity Communications

March 19, 2020 – Sullivan, MO – Fidelity Communications today announced additional relief measures to support families in need during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Beginning today, a 15 Mbps internet plan for $10 per month is available for the next 60 days to help low income families and those most impacted from coronavirus challenges, such as seniors and college students. No documentation will be required to sign up for this plan.

Kajeet

Kajeet is a virtual data service provider who uses Verizon’s network. Several devices are available ranging from hotspots to Chromebooks. All devices are CIPA filtered. Choose the amount of data you need per month. The COVID-19 package is a hotpot with 8Gb allowance over 4 months (2Gb per month).

Longview Kilgore cable are offering service for $14.95/mo for families who call and say they are affected by the pandemic. A $11.95 modem rental fee will also apply to customers without their own modem.

Suddenlink/Altice USA

Altice USA is committed to helping schools and students stay connected during this unprecedented time. For households with K-12 and/or college students who may be displaced due to school closures and who do not currently have home internet access, we are offering our Altice Advantage 30 Mbps broadband solution for free for 60 days to any new customer household within our footprint. After 60 days the cost is $14.99/mo. There is no contract.

Kinetic by Windstream is offering lifeline access to all eligible customers in their service area.
